Are you ready to meet St. Louis Blues star goalie Jordan Binnington in person and have a close look at the NHL’s top prize?

On July 12, Richmond Hill native Binnington is set to travel through the south end of Richmond Green Park with the Stanley Cup.

Binnington will set off at 10 a.m. in a convertible en route to the stage where they’ll be greeted by Mayor Dave Barrow and the rest of council.

Fans are invited to line the route and watch the onstage presentations at the free event.

This past season, the St. Louis Blues went from the worst team in the league to winning the Stanley Cup in Boston last month, defeating the Bruins 4-1 in Game 7.

Binnington, a rookie netminder who is turning 26 on July 11, is believed to have played a key part in the St. Louis Blues’ victory.

Attendees are encouraged to wear their hockey jerseys to show their support.

The route of the event is shown as below.
