Yonge Street will be closed to vehicular traffic on June 2.

The 24th annual Aurora Chamber Street Festival will take over Yonge Street in Aurora on Sunday, from Wellington Street to Murray Drive, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Vehicles will be prohibited from driving on Yonge Street during the festival, to allow vendors and patrons to enjoy the festivities.

The annual festival is held on the first Sunday in June and is a fun-filled family event for all ages with more than 500 vendors, street performers, live music, food galore and more.

Parking on side streets is free for those planning to attend the street festival, and admission is also free of charge.
