Where to watch Raptors vs. Warriors NBA finals

Whether you are a sports fan or not, basketball fever has hit the city and the country with the Toronto Raptors becoming the first Canadian team in history to reach the NBA Finals.

While some fans have scored tickets to the home games, others will be able to watch or listen to the games on Sportsnet, 680 NEWS, CityTV, Sportsnet 590 The FAN, or watch them at Jurassic Park, at viewing parties and at their local bar.

Below is a guide to the broadcast schedule and where to watch the games in town. Tip-off is at either 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. but the broadcast coverage starts a bit earlier.

Jurassic Park in the GTA

Everyone and their friends will be able to watch the games on a large screen at Jurassic Park outside Scotiabank Arena, while celebrating with other fans at the tailgate party.

Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment said several other Canadian cities have also been approved to set up local versions of Jurassic Park, where residents can gather to watch the Raptors games.

Game 2 locations:

• Almonte: Old Town Hall
• Ajax: Jurassic Park of the East at Pat Bayly Square
• Barrie: Meridian Place in Downtown Barrie
• Brampton: Jurassic Square at Garden Square
• Burlington: Burlassic Park at Civic Square
• Downsview Park: The Warehouse Event Venue
• Mississauga: Jurassic Park West at Celebration Square
• Newmarket: Jurassic Commons at Riverwalk Commons
• Pickering: Jurassic East at Pickering Recreation Complex
• Scarborough: Jurassic Park Scarborough at Albert Campbell Square
• Vaughan: Jurassic Park Vaughan at City Hall
• Whitchurch-Stouffville: Jurassic on the Park and 19 on the Park
• Whitby: Whitby Civic Recreation Complex

Other approved cities: Innisfil, Markham, Oakville, Richmond Hill, Windsor, Hamilton, Kingston, Welland, Waterloo, Orangeville, Halton Hills, Midland, Halifax, Aurora, Stratford and Ottawa.

The following community centres will also be hosting viewing parties in Vaughan: Al Palladini, Garnet A. Williams, Maple, North Thornhill, Vellore Village, and Woodbridge Pool and Memorial Arena.

Watch for free at Cineplex

Outside of the city, Cineplex will be airing the games for free at 33 theatre locations across the country.

Tickets to the first four games will be available in-person at the participating theatres. The viewing parties are limited to two tickets per person, per game. Click here for a complete list of locations.

Viewing parties

Any bar, pub or restaurant with a television will be turning the channel to the game but you’ll likely need to call ahead or get there early to secure your spot.

The Rec Room

Rally parties began at Toronto and Mississauga locations on Thursday.

Pick 6ix Sports

Pick 6ix Sports will be showing all seven games from May 30 to June 16

Broadcast and online schedule

Sportsnet will air Games 3, 5, and 7 on television exclusively on Sportsnet and Sportsnet ONE, and online through Sportsnet NOW. CityTV will also broadcast those games.

On radio, 680 NEWS and Sportsnet 590 The FAN will air Games 2, 4, and 6.
