Cheque presentation to Mackenzie Health Foundation

The Vaughan Professional Firefighters Association (VPFFA) presented a $25,000 cheque to the Mackenzie Health Foundation and Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua on March 26, 2019. This was all made possible due to their 2019 Firefighter calendar fundraising efforts. The VPFFA exceeded their own expectations with the 2019 Firefighter calendar, and this would not have been possible without new and existing Vaughan based relationships. This is a portion of their overall commitment of sponsorship promise of $100000. VPFFA secretary Andrew Anthony and executive member Justin Sanderson presented the cheque alongside Vaughan Fire Chief Deryn Rizzi. The Mayor’s Mackenzie Health fundraising initiatives have been very successful and the Vaughan Professional Firefighters Association calendar initiative is deserving of acknowledgement in our community.
