Vaughan is a rapidly growing part of York Region. This area of the city -- on Islington Avenue near Rutherford Road -- is no different. A townhouse development is planned for this area.

- Address: 9560 Islington Ave.
- Status: The development was approved by council in June 2018. The site plan agreement is being finalized for registration, required to apply for building permits.
- •Developer: Real estate developer Kingsmen Group Inc. says on its website its new townhouse development, called Urban Towns, is currently in pre-construction.
- Development: The owner is proposing to develop the property with 88 back-to-back stacked townhouse units and 16 stacked townhouse units accessed by a private road as well as a total of 183 parking spaces, comprised of 157 resident parking spaces and 26 visitor parking.
- Completion: The development is scheduled for completion in 2020, according to Kingsmen Group Inc.'s website.
