Watch out for this Bernard Avenue road closure, at Yonge Street, in Richmond Hill

JUST THE FACTS

What: As part of ongoing storm sewer infrastructure installations along Yonge Street, Bernard Avenue will be temporarily closed -- at Yonge.

This will allow crews to install an oil grit separator (a structure that removes sediment, screens debris, and separates oil from the storm sewer system) on Bernard, at Yonge Street.

Dates: Wednesday, May 22 to Sunday, May 26

Hours: 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Closure is 24-7

Helpful details:

• Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the closure.

• You will still have access to businesses and properties near the work areas.

• Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise, vibration and dust from equipment and trucks.
