World Autism Awareness Day in Vaughan

On April 2, 2019, a flag raising ceremony was held in the courtyard at Vaughan City Hall to recognize World Autism Awareness Day in Vaughan. Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua, Councillors, and Vaughan citizens were in attendance to commemorate the occasion. Mayor Bevilacqua stated “The City of Vaughan is proud to recognize World Autism Awareness Day. With the support of our community partners, we are helping to bring attention to Autism Spectrum Disorder so more can be done to help those living with autism reach their full potential.”
