Langstaff Road East to High Tech Road

Town of Richmond Hill and City of Markham

York Region is conducting an Environmental Assessment (EA) Study for the extension of Red Cedar/Cedar Avenue from Langstaff Road East to High Tech Road in the Town of Richmond Hill and City of Markham.
Background:

• York Region’s 2016 Transportation Master Plan Update identified a new road linking the Langstaff Gateway and Richmond Hill Centre communities by connecting Red Cedar Avenue to Cedar Avenue, to support the planned growth in these areas.
• Through the EA Study, York Region will review improvements for pedestrians, cyclists, transit users and motorists.
