ust north of Leslie Street and 16th Avenue in Richmond Hill, lies an empty field with a sign that says this land will be developed into three car dealerships.

JUST THE FACTS:

• Location: Brodie Drive and Orlando Avenue area in Richmond Hill. The land is on the east side of Leslie Street.

• Sign: It’s a yellow public notice letting people know that there has been an application to permit three automotive dealerships. This application was made to the Town of Richmond Hill.

• The ask: A request was made by Quarre Properties Inc., Heartland (Seven) Ltd. and Orlando Corporation to amend the Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw for lands municipally known as 0 Brodie Drive and 0 Orlando Avenue; the applications seek to allow three car dealerships to be located on the land.

• A response from the town: This projects is on hold with the applicant and we can’t comment at this time. So, it is not public yet which three car dealerships are planned for the area.
