Aurora needs to clean house.

Spring will soon be sprung and the Town of Aurora is inviting all residents to participate in its annual Cleanup Day on April 13 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Town staff, residents and volunteers will help clean up litter throughout the community on the same day.

On the day of the event, registration and distribution of cleanup kits takes place at 8 a.m., cleanup activities will happen from 9 a.m. to noon and the town will host an appreciation barbecue for all participants from noon to 2 p.m.

Cleanup activities take place at various sites throughout town. Sites can be selected when registering by emailing cleanup@aurora.ca.

All participants will receive a cleanup kit on site and are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and footwear.
