Ontario Northland is trialling a new bus stop at the Highway 407 Terminal in Vaughan.
Passengers travelling between North Bay and Toronto can now take advantage of the connections offered at this multi-modal terminal with GO Transit bus service, the TTC subway and York Regional Transit, according to Ontario Northland Transportation Commission.
“Providing seamless transportation connections for our passengers is important,” said Tracy MacPhee, director of passenger operations. “The Highway 407 Terminal is accessible and open seven days a week, making it convenient to connect to other transportation providers, in addition to being an ideal location for pick-up and drop-offs,” she said.
“We have received positive feedback on the trial. Passengers have been utilizing the connection with GO’s route to Pearson International Airport, and the convenient link to the subway.”
Over the next few months, Ontario Northland will be monitoring ridership to determine if additional trips could benefit from this connection.
