Looking to make a difference in your community?

Join a town committee.

East Gwillimbury is looking for volunteers to sit on a number of committees, ranging from accessibility, economic development, heritage, community, Road Watch, culture and diversity, to neighbourhood committees.

The town is now accepting applications for positions on close to 20 different committees.

The volunteer positions are council-appointed.

Interested residents are encouraged to visit the committee webpage for specific information and to fill out a committee application form.

East Gwillimbury also introduced a number of new committees, including community groups for Queensville-Sharon and Holland Landing; road watch; and a broadband advisory committee.

If you’re looking to volunteer with the town on a more informal basis or for a specific event, check out Engaged EG, a one-stop shop for volunteers. The town is hosting volunteer orientation nights on March 18 and April 24.
