Family Literacy Day Party at Civic Centre Resource Library

Vaughan Public Libraries (VPL) welcomed over 300 dads, moms and kids to the Family Literacy Day Party on January 27 at the Civic Centre Resource Library. As part of VPL’s annual celebration of Family Literacy Day, all enjoyed an afternoon of fun-filled activities including a special storytime with author and Early Literacy Specialist, Jill Javelosa-Alvarez, meet & greet with Clifford the Big Red Dog, photo booth, puppet-making, bilingual play stations and STEAM activities.
