Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest 2019

Hundreds joined the festivities on Sunday, February 10 as Vaughan celebrated its 30th Annual Winterfest. Presented by TD and sponsored by Tim Hortons, guests were welcome to enjoy FREE family-fun entertainment from 10am-3:30pm at Vellore Village Community Centre. The morning was kicked off with performances from Doo Doo the International Clown and a fire show performed by Zero Gravity Circus. Afterwards, guests heard from Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua, Rec Vaughan and Members of Council. Guests then bundled up and enjoyed midway rides and inflatables, meet and greets with Peppa Pig, Sonshine & Broccoli, George & Bob the Builder, Vaughan Fire and Rescue, York Regional Police and many more. Guests were welcome throughout the day to make their way into Vellore for arts & crafts, fun booths and tons of giveaways! Families also enjoyed horse-drawn wagon rides and cozied up by the warm bonfires with delicious treats. It was a fun day for all guests who attended the 30th Annual Winterfest.
