Cold weather? Snow problem! Member of Parliament, Deb Schulte hosted her 2nd annual Family Day Skate in King City with families from all across the riding. Adults and children alike were able to take part in fun activities and enjoy refreshments, while spending quality time together. Local families were joined by a surprise guest, the Hon. Jean-Yves Duclos, and were able to share their thoughts and concerns directly with the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development. Francesco Sorbara, MP for Vaughan-Woodbridge, as well as several local King Councillors, Avia Eek, Jordan Alexander Cescolini and Jakob Schneider also dropped by. The event provided the Federal Minister with the opportunity to share our government’s initiatives that are currently helping families right here in King-Vaughan, such as the Canada Child Benefit, which is assisting over 13,000 families, totaling approx.
