Byelection debate planned for Feb. 20 in Keswick

The second of two York-Simcoe federal byelection debates in Georgina is slated for Cayley Hall in Keswick Feb. 20.
Hosted by the Social Planning Council of York Region (SPCYR), the two-hour debate will focus on social, economic and environmental issues, said the group's co-chair Yvonne Kelly, adding the mandate of the council is to build a civic society in which diversity, equity, social and economic Justice, interdependence and active resident participation are central aspects.
In the event of inclement weather on Feb. 20, the event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21 at the same venue and time.
Caylee Hall is located at 6 Turner St. in Roches Point.
