Registration is now open for kindergarten classes starting September 2019, the York Catholic District School Board said in a statement Jan. 7.
“The board looks forward to welcoming new families for the 2019 to 2020 school year,” it added.
The York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) said children, who are born in 2015, must be four years old by Dec. 31 to enrol in junior kindergarten. However, those born in 2014 must register in senior kindergarten. Students currently attending junior kindergarten at a York Catholic school do not need to re-register for senior kindergarten.
Parents and guardians, who wish to register their children in the York Catholic District School Board’s full-day kindergarten program, should bring the original documents listed below to their local Catholic school during regular school hours, and are encouraged to call the school ahead of their visit.
