More than 50 homes coming to south side of 16th Avenue, east of Montesano Crescent

Fifty-six homes will be built in the area of Valleymede Drive, 16th Avenue and Strathearn Ave. in Richmond Hill.

Just the facts:

• A staff report for the original proposal was considered by Council at its public meeting on June 6, 2018.

• Staff has received a revised submission from the applicant and it now proposes a total of 56 semi-detached units. A sign in the area reflects an earlier desire to build 37 homes.

• Location: The land is on the south side of 16th Avenue, east of Montesano Crescent.

• One interior space and one driveway space per unit is proposed.

• The proposal also includes the extension of Lagani Avenue and Montesano.
