Lifesaving equipment awarded to Vaughan fire and rescue service

Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service celebrated $15,000 grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation on November 8. The Grant will support Alarms for Life purchase of more than 2,700 fire alarms for distribution through the Vaughan Food Bank. Present that afternoon was Fire Chief Deryn Rizzi, Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service Deputy Fire Chief Andrew Zvanitajs, Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service, Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service members, Firehouse Subs Area Representative: Alex Gerzon and Firehouse Subs Franchisee: Richard Jodoin.
