New Clean Tech Manufacturing Facility Opens in Vaughan

On December 17, MP Francesco Sorbara visited Pliteq Inc.- a manufacturer of acoustic vibration and sound control products made with recycled rubber from used vehicle tires. MP Sorbara saw first-hand the new 150,000-square foot facility in Vaughan. FedDev Ontario contributed $3.8 million toward the expansion project, which allowed Pliteq Inc. to acquire advanced production equipment and adopt new manufacturing activities that will boost productivity.
