The 7th Annual Festival of Light

On December 13, all were welcome to attend the 7th Annual Festival of Light that celebrated our common heritage in Canada. Guests filled the Atrium of Vaughan City Hall that evening to share in many cultures and traditions. The Festival began with opening speeches from multiple dignitaries followed by the singing of Canada's National Anthem. Afterwards, all were welcome to partake in various activities that showcased various cultures, music, art and food from a number of places from around the world. Representatives from over 10 different cultures and religions were present during the 7th Annual Festival of Light for guests to meet with. The event was a great opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the many cultures and traditions from all around the world.
