6-vehicle crash knocks down light standard, closes road in Vaughan

Northbound and southbound lanes of New Huntington Road are closed at Hwy. 7 following a six-vehicle collision that took down a light standard.
Vaughan Fire and Rescue Services tweeted about the incident at around 1:35 p.m. Dec. 28 after dispatching crews to the scene.
Fire Capt. Matt Kenney is on scene and said emergency responders are waiting for Hydro One to attend the scene to fix the live power lines on the road.
York Regional Police and Peel Paramedics are also on scene.
The collision is still under investigation.
