kick off the night, everyone enjoyed delectable starter food creations while taking the time to chat with new and old friends. Afterwards, all sat down to dive into and indulge on a main course meal and specialty drinks to pair. A live auction was on the itinerary that night to further raise money for such an incredible cause and a Dedicated Pledge Drive. Guests went wild and danced the night away as Platinum Blonde, Kardinal Offishall and Jully Black each hit the stage! Last year's gala sold out in record time with over 1,000 guests in attendance and this year was only the same! Hats On For Awareness is a local charity that works incredibly hard to raise funds to further the reach of mental health programs which enhance the lives of those living with and affected by mental illness and addictions. Their goal is to shatter the stigma that is associated with mental illness and addiction. To date, they have distributed over $750, 000 in support of important organizations such as the CAMH Foundation, the Humber River Hospital Foundation, Jack.org and What's Up Walk-In.
