Aurora residents are invited to join the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 385 for its annual Remembrance Day parade and ceremony.

Residents can join fellow residents, veterans, legion members and dignitaries as respect is paid to those who have fallen and those who remain after fighting for the freedom Canadians enjoy in present day.

The annual parade will begin at 10 a.m. and travel south along Yonge Street beginning at Dunning Avenue to the Memorial Peace Park Cenotaph.

The crowd will gather at the memorial to listen to speakers, observe laying of wreaths and participate in a moment of silence.
