Fuerza Latina Hispanic Heritage Ceremony

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, hundreds from the community gathered at Vaughan City Hall last month for the Fuerza Latina Hispanic Heritage Ceremony. Present that day were dignitaries which recognize the rich contributions of Hispanic-Canadians for their social, economic, political and multicultural fabric. It was a fun afternoon as guests enjoyed a parade of 20 Latin Flags at the City Hall. Before the flag raising ceremony, speeches were made as all who were in attendance gathered outside. Fuerza Latina has a mission to empower youth and their families through various activities and groups in Vaughan and surrounding areas.
