Savour York Region Thanksgiving Food Drive

It was a time to savour and give thanks while giving back as the return of Savour York Region’s Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive took place last month. Hunger takes no holiday, the Vaughan Food Bank provides food to families in Vaughan and surrounding agencies in York Region year-round; the increase in usage continues to be on the rise. All were invited to support the kick-off special event for the 12th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the Vaughan Food Bank on September 29, 2018 from 11am to 3pm at Fortinos on Highway 7 & Ansley Grove in Woodbridge. The community came out, had some fun, did some grocery shopping but also took with them the amazing feeling of giving back. Present that day was Vaughan Fire & Rescue and Vaughan dignitaries. The event was in sponsorship with yp dine, Vaughan Fire & Rescue, 105.9 The Region, snapd and Star Metroland Media, powered by Plan B Promotions.
