Stretch of Pine Valley Drive in Vaughan closed until Nov. 23

Road will be closed from Teston Road to Major Mackenzie Drive

A major road work project is going to close a stretch of Pine Valley Drive for most of the next couple of months.

Pine Valley Drive, between Teston Road and Major Mackenzie Drive, will be closed to traffic until Nov. 23 to allow for the installation of municipal infrastructure.

There will also be road rehabilitation on stretches of Kirby Road, Pine Valley Drive and King Vaughan Road during that time with the work scheduled to be completed by the end of November.

The road work will be staged to allow continuous access, but there will be temporary lane and driveway access restrictions at times.

A temporary closure of Teston Road, east of Keele Street, for railway crossing improvements is scheduled to take place Friday, Oct. 5 to Sunday, Oct. 7.
