If you’ve driven along Pine Valley Drive from Teston Road to Major Mackenzie Drive in Vaughan in the past few months, you may have noticed some construction.
The roadwork won’t cease any time soon. It’s scheduled to last until the end of November.
Just the facts:
- Pine Valley Drive from Teston Road to Major Mackenzie Drive in Vaughan will be closed until Friday, Nov. 23.
- This work began on July 23.
- Traffic control signs and detour routes will help guide motorists and pedestrians, according to the City of Vaughan.
- Local traffic will be allowed from Teston Road to Major Mackenzie Drive during construction, with access to local homes and businesses within the construction area remaining open and maintained.
- Emergency services have been told about the construction activity in this area of Vaughan. Access by emergency services (including police, fire and ambulance), postal delivery and waste collection will remain unaffected during this time, says the City of Vaughan.
- There will also be road rehabilitation on stretches of Kirby Road and King Vaughan Road during that time, with the work scheduled to be completed by the end of November.
