My Mission Statement:
Return to strong community safety, community service and a high quality of education for Richmond Hill residents.
My Personal Profile:
I am a Canadian citizen immigrant from China 18 years ago as Computer Systems Analyst, undergrad degree and became a Canadian citizen 14 years ago. I have been a resident in Richmond Hill for over eight years.
Currently, my husband Karl and I live in the Oak Ridges area in Richmond Hill. Career-wise, I worked at one of the largest Canadian pharmaceutical companies for more than 15 years.
Apart from work, hiking is one of my favourite hobbies and I have been a member of Oak Ridges Trail Association for more than six years, and currently hold the position of Richmond Hill chapter chair.
I have also volunteered at Mackenzie Health Hospital for more than six years in various positions such as front desk receptionist, customer service, gift shop assistant, helping international food festival fund raising and so on.
I have dedicated my time on assisting new immigrant families settling in Richmond Hill by helping them with language, schooling, housing and job searches.
I am always pursuing excellence and I have a heart and passion to serve the town, community and the residences as well as strive to bring your voice to the town and York region.
I pledge to create an excellent management system.
In addition, I would promote a healthy lifestyle, balance economic development while protecting the environment.
