Carrie Liddy has lived in Woodbridge for 26 years and raised a family of four children here in Woodbridge. Mark and Carrie Liddy are proud grandparent of four grandchildren.
Liddy has two university degrees, BA in Economics and an LLM Masters in Law.
For thirty-five years Liddy consulted with government and the private sector on security and privacy and in particular in the area of technology. Liddy was the Chair of the Canadian Advisory Council-Privacy and a member of the Advisory Council of Canada-Security. Liddy co-wrote and filed a patent on secure internet transactions. Liddy developed disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the federal government and private sector. Liddy was a team member to author the threat risk assessment and the federal government security policy.
Liddy is a community leader: Chair of her children’s Parent Council; Co-founder of Woodbridge family of Schools, which presented educational seminars for parents; Girl Guide leader; active member of a Ratepayer association and a regular contributor at City hall.

Liddy is a community leader and has been a leader throughout her career. Liddy led Canada’s privacy initiatives and protection of Canadians. Liddy has experience with finances, planning and governance.
Most importantly Liddy and her husband Mark have raised four wonderful success children in Woodbridge.
