A longtime resident of Wodbridge, Nick Pinto is a husband, father and, grandfather who has volunteered on behalf of Woodbridge residents for over 30 years. Nick has served on a number of appointed committees, led ratepayers’ groups and worked with all three levels of government to ensure Woodbridge remains a well-balanced, safe and prosperous community.

Nick works to maintain the reputation of Vaughan as a city that reflects the positive, hardworking and dedicated nature of its citizens.

Nick’s focus:

Better planning

Quite simply, infrastructure before development. Quality of life suffers when we develop before we expand roadways.

Preservation of existing green space

Boyd Park and The Board of Trade Golf Club are an integral part of what makes Ward 2 beautiful. We cannot continue to accept the reduction of our green space.

Protecting our property values

A full commitment to protect our property values in every decision I make. Consulting and working with residents before developments are approved by council is integral to being a good councillor. I understand my role is, first and foremost, the eyes and ears of my community. I work for you. This role is a privilege.

Community safety

BUSINESS

Satisfy your sweet tooth at Vaughan's All You...
I recognize there is growing concern about our daily safety. I see opportunity to improve school safety zones, parks, community centres and, our streets. I recognize there is significantly more that can be done to address these concerns. I will be a leader in communication, proactive and, determined to ensure all residents continue to feel Woodbridge is one of the safest places in Canada to live.

Taking care of our seniors

Woodbridge is such a great place to live and our seniors are one of the main reasons why. We can do better for them. Property tax rates, better access to our community centres and, a better senior transportation system are specific examples that can be improved.

This election is about electing a voice on council who will act as your eyes and ears. It’s about electing a councillor who has the best interest of residents as their top priority.
