I am Mark Pulciani and I am seeking the position of councillor for Ward 3. I have lived in Woodbridge for 33 years and I have lived in Ward 3 for 17 of those years. I am a husband and proud father of two daughters.
I have a plastics engineering diploma and postgraduate certificates in professional sales and marketing. I have worked in the area of sales and marketing for over 15 years. I am also a photographer, providing professional photography services for over five years. In my work, I have listened to the needs of my customers, have built positive relationships with them and have worked diligently at finding the end-solution that would work for them. If elected, I will bring these skills with me, to ensure that the residents’ needs are addressed.
When I am not working, I volunteer my time in our city! I have served on local ratepayers' associations, local parent school council, and other community groups, such as Keep Vaughan Green, all of which are dedicated to making our community a great place to live.
I am running as a candidate for Ward 3 because I am passionate about creating positive change in our city in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations. I am committed to providing transparency, honesty, and new ideas within our city. My priorities include:
- Working with residents, ratepayers' associations, and other community groups to address their concerns at city council
- Smart growth of our city while respecting the beauty of established neighbourhoods
- Addressing traffic and infrastructure issues
- Maintaining low property taxes
- Protection of green space and heritage features within our communities
- Programs for children, youth, adults and seniors
- Establishing barrier-free communities to ensure inclusivity for all residents
If elected, I will work diligently to be responsive to the needs of the residents and I promise to be a councillor that truly works and cares for the citizens of our community. On Oct. 22, it is time for change. Elect Mark Pulciani -- A voice for the residents.
