This election is not about the next four years, it’s about the next 40.
As a lifelong resident of Vaughan, husband and father of two young boys, I have chosen Ward 4 to raise my family. I care deeply about our city and believe we are at a cross roads as a community. As our city grows, the decisions being made are impacting our quality of life increasingly each year.
Since 2015, I have been on the board of the Friends of Grand Trunk Ravine local residents’ group, fighting a controversial development on the Oak Ridge’s Moraine in our ward. As a result of my experience and passion, I am actively involved with other Vaughan residents’ groups, providing regular support and advice.
Leading with integrity, transparency and accountability --I will be funding $10,100 to my campaign, which is the maximum allowable amount that a candidate can contribute. I am pledging that I will not accept campaign contributions from developers.
Protecting our green space -- I will create a tree planting initiative that will bring city staff, residents, volunteers and local partners together to plant 200,000 trees in the next four years across the city.
Investing in youth programs -- Working with city recreational staff to increase the programs available throughout the school year and during the summer and winter holidays.
Respecting your tax dollars -- Making sure that every tax dollar is spent in the best interest of the residents.
Working closely with resident groups -- I am committed to working with local rate payers’ groups
Join me in creating a livable Vaughan that we will all be proud to leave our children and grandchildren.
A new voice, new leadership, and strong steps forward in building a better Vaughan!
