Vaughan needs new leadership with a strong vision and ability to tackle gridlock, reduce the burden on taxpayers, restore accountability and trust in our city’s finances, control growth, and strengthen good job creation and economic prosperity.

For 28 years my wife and I, along with our four children, have called Vaughan home. Currently, I teach economic development at York University, Ryerson University and Seneca College. I have served the people of Vaughan for 17 years as the Commissioner of Economic Development, during which time I developed the “City Above Toronto” tag line and helped attract thousands of good-paying jobs. My degree in urban planning and master’s degree in economic development, coupled with a proven track record of achievements, strongly qualify me to serve the people of Vaughan once again.

As a member of the city’s senior management team, I developed expertise on cutting taxes and controlling growth by enforcing the Official Plan, planned smart neighbourhoods by ensuring developers expanded or built roads before a permit was issued, and attracted businesses that created good-paying jobs.

Key Priorities

For a decade, our concerns have not been addressed or fixed. I have the experience and ability to move Vaughan forward. On Oct. 22, vote Frank Miele for Mayor.

Together we can make a difference.
