I knew 10 years ago that I would compete for the position of mayor and have been working diligently toward that goal since then. Now, I hope to help even more as our next mayor. I have called Whitchurch-Stouffville home for decades, and I am proud of my association with the people and businesses within it. For the past several years, we have been in the news for the wrong reasons. I see an immense potential to strengthen our community that is currently not being maximized. We have a fantastic opportunity to transition our town and to be ready for a bright future.

I have much to offer Whitchurch-Stouffville and can best continue to serve the citizens and businesses in a full-time capacity as mayor. My past experience affords me the opportunity to interact with a network of engaged citizens who can help inform and guide my actions. My activity also gives me the background and experience required to know how the town operates. I have been politically active through high school and university, both as an elected politician and as an adviser to governing bodies.

My goal as mayor is to provide vision and leadership. With my platform, I am articulating a clear direction for the future of our town. I will provide the mechanisms to help members of council, staff and the citizens of Whitchurch-Stouffville achieve our common goals. I will do this in a businesslike and professional fashion, calling on my 40-plus years of experience growing up in the Whitchurch-Stouffville area and 20-plus years of experience as a business owner and consultant to some of the largest organizations in Canada.
