Vince Scaramuzzo is a Ward 1 councillor candidate for Maple-Kleinburg. He resides in Ward 1 Maple, the City of Vaughan, with his wife Laura and two adult children. Deeply rooted in his community, he and his family have been residents of their community for over 27 years.

As an accomplished senior leader with over 15 years experience with leading Canadian financial institutions, he has led large-scale national contact centres, helping families reach their financial goals.

My core values: Respect, accountability and dedication are the solid foundation for the residents and the community.

In 2015, I became an active member of the Ward 1 Maple/Kleinburg advisory panel. During my previous three-year tenure I advocated and represented the many interests that affected his community.

 I will champion and advocate to be The voice for positive change for the residents of Ward 1 and the City of Vaughan by addressing core issues which include:

1. Keeping taxes low

• Getting the best value for your tax dollars

2. Traffic and congestion

• Implement efficient solution that will attack gridlock and improve traffic flow

3. Safety of our community and streets

• For our kids, seniors and diverse community

4. Improve senior citizen services

• Increase services to improve mobility, access and quality of living

5. Building community and infrastructure

• Improve public spaces, streetscaping, parks and community centres

6. Local business

• Increase services and support local and community businesses
