For the first time, Queensville and Sharon residents will choose a councillor to represent them. With my law clerk and social service work diplomas and having worked in a banking association, legal profession and a nonprofit organization, I have the necessary skills, passion and dedication to qualify me in my bid for councillor for Queensville and Sharon area, Ward 2.

I have over 20 years of the kind of experience that voters are looking for.

I am part of an organization that advocates those who are really in need. First, through our pension and homeless programs, we help veterans get disability pensions and much needed emergency assistance such as food, shelter and medical equipment, thus improving their quality of life, righteously deserved after serving this country.

Second, I help manage our Charitable Foundation Program, so we can provide all kinds of medical equipment to hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and fire departments in various parts of Ontario. Third, through our Youth Program, I co-ordinate the Remembrance poster and literary competitions, video competitions, public speaking and assist in providing bursaries to students across Ontario.

I am enthusiastic and passionate about what I do at work and would like to extend that same enthusiasm and passion as a councillor for East Gwillimbury.

Being a councillor means listening to residents and advocating their issues.

During my campaign, residents have expressed their need for a retirement home, volunteer-run programs for youth, parks for kids, greater value for property taxes and accessible council meetings.

Most importantly, they want more accountability from their council. These are all worthy projects that I’m going to support and advocate to enhance the lives of the residents.

I’ve fallen in love with this beautiful town of East Gwillimbury and I want to serve as your Queensville and Sharon councillor.
