I am seeking re-election to the East Gwillimbury municipal council.

I have been your councillor for the past four years, working hard on your behalf and all of those who live and work in our communities.

East Gwillimbury has been my home since 2007. I see how important this community is to everyone who lives here and clearly see how the decisions made at all political levels impact our community.

For over 38 years, I have been a successful business owner and community organizer.

I have organized many fundraising events and raised millions of dollars to benefit community projects, which I am, and remain, passionate about.

The focus of my fundraising has been to support Southlake Regional Health Care Centre and the Persechini Walkathon for Easter seals. The success of South Lake Health Centre is integral to the well-being of so many of our residents. I believe East Gwillimbury is a place where everyone belongs and together we make it our home.

I am committed to promoting sustainable community growth and affordable taxes by maintaining the one of the lowest tax rates in the region.

I strive to ensure decision-making that recognizes the voice of all stakeholders within the community. In advocating for both strong business and community values, I am able to establish and maintain the quality partnerships that we need to build a safe and supportive community for everyone.

Through these partnerships, I have been able to achieve efficiencies that have benefited the taxpayers in East Gwillimbury.

Listening to you and getting things done is very important to me.

I strive to build a vibrant and productive community. We have a strong team in East Gwillimbury, within our council, support services and local businesses. I support well-planned sustainable growth for the benefit of all.

It is important to me to build on our strengths and create a community that meets the needs of all citizens.
