Honey Harvest Festival and Run for the Bees

Learn about bees, honey making and bee conservation during the Honey Harvest Festival Sept. 15 and 16 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kortright Centre for Conservation. The festival features honey tasting, live entertainment and vendors with local and natural honey. Kick off the festival with the Run for the Bees Sept. 15.

Annual Memorial Butterfly Release

Watch hundreds of butterflies flutter along during the annual Bereaved Families of York Region memorial butterfly release Sept. 15 at 9 a.m. The annual event is a way of expressing sorrow for the loss of a loved one.

Thornhill Village Festival

Bring your friends and family to enjoy the food, music and fun activities during the annual Thornhill Village Festival Sept. 15 in old Thornhill. The festival features live entertainment, petting zoo, baking contest, kids activities, food and craft vendors and live military re-enactments.
