September 11, 2018

My skills, experience, and personality have prepared me well for this position. I thrive on helping others solve their problems. I remain calm under pressure, work well independently and with others, and am energetic and creative. I display sound judgement and decision-making skills, and excel in co-operative working environments.

I have a bachelor's degree in physical and health education from the University of Toronto, and am a huge proponent of lifelong learning.

An entrepreneur in York Region for 16 years, I provide IT services to small businesses. Prior to moving to York Region, I lived in Toronto, and developed my technology expertise through jobs and projects dealing with design, production, teaching, and support.

I moved to York Region 16 years ago, spending my first four years in Kleinburg getting to know my neighbours and helping out where I could. I moved to Schomberg 12 years ago and continued to get involved in my community.

I believe in strong communities, and pitch in whenever I can.

I have over 50 years cumulative board experience since moving to York Region, including:

For my work at the McMichael, I was awarded the Governor General's Sovereign Medal for Volunteers in 2017.

If elected, I will work to maintain and improve the quality and safety of our roads, monitor that responsible development is in keeping with the rural nature of King Township, ensure that our tax dollars are being used efficiently and effectively and sustain and improve our quality of life.

Please vote (for me) on Oct. 22.
