Grand opening of Whitchurch-Stouffville's Latcham Arts Centre set for Aug. 23

The grand opening of the Latcham Art Centre is right around the corner.

On Aug. 23, the grand opening for the centre's new location at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Lesiure Centre will be marked by the inaugural exhibition Anthropocene by Jaime Angelopoulos and Derrick Piens. The exhibition continues until Oct. 14.

The public is invited to the event that runs from 7 to 9 p.m.  There is free admission as well as refreshments and cake.

The Latcham Art Centre will be located in the area that used to be the fitness space and aerobic studio. The gallery will have a dedicated multi-purpose room for their use and direct access from the main lobby.
