Jamaica Day Summerfest
1. Feel like you're on a trip to the Caribbean during Jamaica Day Summerfest. This two-day event features food, arts and crafts, live performances and more and takes place Sept. 1 and 2 at the Launch Golf Centre in Vaughan.
Labour Day Fireworks
End the summer holidays with a bang at Canada’s Wonderland with fireworks. For about 15 minutes, enjoy more than 6,000 colourful explosions set to an original soundtrack. The show beings about 10 p.m. Note that some rides may close early.
Richmond Hill Farmers Market
Pick up some locally produced goodies and other treats at the Richmond Hill Farmers Market on Sept. 2 from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Elgin Barrow. Check out music and entertainment between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. This week, enjoy the music of Gregory Swain.
