A new medical centre is opening soon in York Region. The building is currently being constructed on the northeast corner of Mulock Drive and Bayview Avenue in Newmarket.

The new development will feature space for a pharmacy, medical offices, retail use and parking.

Just the Facts:

• The building is located at 536 Mulock Court in Newmarket.

• A spokesperson from the Town of Newmarket has said the development is being undertaken by Mulock Canada Med Inc.

• The building comprises about 2,200 square metres of floor space, which includes approximately 1,600 square metres of medical offices, 500 square metres of retail and 100 square metres of pharmacy space.

• According to the real estate listing, there will be in-house X-ray, blood labs and a pharmacy to help serve patients.

• The parking lot will feature 98 spaces with a combination of surface and underground spaces. Nine spaces will be barrier-free.

• The building is to be completed by September 2018 with occupancy in October.
