On June 19 Vaughan Public Libraries hosted its first baby fair, called Babies, Bumps & Books at Pierre Berton Resource Library. Parents and caregivers alike enjoyed a day that was all about babies meeting community experts, attended workshops and story times while gathering helpful parenting know-how. Special guests included local Early Literacy Specialist and author, Jill Javelosa- Alvarez, Family Care Midwives, York Region Public Health, St. John Ambulance, Pediatric Sleep Consultant, Anita Patel, parent support group, Life with a Baby and many more.
