1. Take a trip across the globe without leaving Newmarket during the Culture Bridge Festival at Riverwalk Commons. Featuring the sounds of India on July 14 and world cultures on July 15. Admission is free, but donations for the food pantry will be accepted.
2. Pick up some local treats, or enjoy some of the entertainment, activities and games at the Richmond Hill Farmers' Market. Runs every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Sept. 30 at Elgin Barrow Arena, 43 Church St. S.
3. Head for the big top at the Royal Canadian Family Circus Spectac! 2018. There will be eight shows at the Markham Fairgrounds from July 12 to 15.
4. Get your fill at Vaughan Pizza Fest July 13 to 15 at Interchange Park. Enjoy pizza, beer and entertainment including DJ Pauly D on Saturday. Fans of The Sopranos won’t want to miss Vincent Pastore, who will be signing autographs and answering questions on Sunday.
