Residents on Thompkins Crescent in Aurora were without water Monday morning after a watermain break Sunday night caused a massive sinkhole on part of the street.
Town staff have been contacted but as of late Monday afternoon there is still no word as to when residents can expect their water to be back up and running.
Town coun. and mayoral candidate Tom Mrakas visited the site and spoke with residents Monday, posting on Facebook that there are quite a few homes impacted with no water and some unable to get their vehicles out of their driveways.
While the town works to resolve the issue, a neighbouring complex has opened up its doors to affected residents.
