Things are going to get hotter in some York communities.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Vaughan, Richmond Hill and Markham, warning a hot and humid air mass will affect the Golden Horseshoe Sunday, July 15 and Monday, July 16.
Temperatures are expected to be in the low 30s but will feel almost 40 with the humidex. There will not be much relief overnight as temperatures are only expected to drop to the low 20s, according to Environment Canada.
A cold front is expected to move through early Tuesday, ending the heat.
