Canadian Premier League Launches York9 FC

The Canadian Premier League (CPL) officially announced its first men's competitive soccer team, York9 FC. CPL is a national professional men's soccer league and it is anticipated to debut next spring with eight to ten teams from across Canada. Owned by the Baldassarra Family and managed by Jimmy Brennan and Preben Ganzhorn, York9 FC will be competing in the CPL inaugural season.
