Raise the Flag for Autism at Vaughan City Hall

April 4th celebrated World Autism Awareness Day at Vaughan City Hall with Autism Ontario York Region’s invitation for friends, family, neighbours, and those with autism to promote Autism Acceptance together. In raising the Ontario Autism Flag, visitors of the event revealed how much they care for all people, achieving the long-time anticipated concept and actions taken to create an equal community. When a collective stands for a single belief, stigmas are addressed and prejudices are reduced. In Vaughan, acceptance and acknowledgement of individuals increases every day with similar events that recognize all types of people in society.
