On April 18th, Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council were present at the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the new Vaughan Fire & Rescue Service Station #7-4. Fire Chief Larry Bentley, Deputy Fire Chiefs Deryn Rizzi and Andrew Zvanitajs, as well as Members of Vaughan Fire & Rescue were also present that day as speeches were made to commemorate the new fire station, followed by the ground breaking ceremony. Those in attendance enjoyed warm refreshments and mingled with Members of Council, Vaughan Fire & Rescue, and the Senior Command Team. Service Station #7-4 is located at 835 Nashville Road in Kleinburg and construction is well underway.
